To strengthen our team, we are looking for a QA Test Consultant (m/f/d) with initial professional experience to support our client projects with methodological rigour and a commitment to quality.
Your responsibilities:
- Planning, designing and executing test activities to ensure quality in complex IT and transformation projects
- Analysing requirements and processes to derive appropriate test measures
- Developing and implementing test strategies, test plans and test cases – both manually and automatically
- Conducting functional and non-functional tests (e.g. system, integration, regression and acceptance tests)
- Analysing, documenting and tracking test results in close coordination with development and business departments
- Establishing, further developing and deploying test automation solutions – both internally and in client projects
- Supporting the introduction and optimisation of test processes in accordance with ISTQB standards
- Working in agile project teams (Scrum, Kanban) using modern tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Xray, HP ALM or TestRail
- Quality assurance within SAP or bespoke development projects, e.g. in the context of S/4HANA migrations or regulatory requirements (e.g. Instant Payments, Verification of Payee, MaRisk, BAIT)
Your profile:
- 1–3 years’ professional experience in software testing, ideally in a consultancy environment
- Ideally, experience in projects within the financial services or public sector
- Good knowledge of ISTQB test methods and processes (certification desirable)
- Experience with test management and documentation tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Xray, TestRail)
- A strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate customer requirements into test strategies
- Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work and a strong focus on quality
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- An advantage: knowledge of payment transactions, core banking systems, SQL, BPMN or ETL processes
