Your tasks: 

• Working in one of various complex transformations projects for our Clients (mainly from the financial sector) 

• Translating the Client/Product requirements into functional and non-functional specifications 

• Preparing and leading workshops with the Clients and Stakeholders 

• Creating and maintaining clear documentation in a form of specifications, diagrams, models according to the project needs 

• Participating in user interface design, configuration, and review 

• Maintaining a good Client relation by supporting, answering questions, and providing the necessary information 

Your profile: 

• 3+ years of proven experience in functional/business analysis and/or solution design 

• Knowledge of Payments (Instant Payments SWIFT, SEPA, ISO20022, AZV, Target2, crypto currency) 

• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher 

• Familiarity with business analysis standards 

• High analytical skills with an eye to detail 

• Good interpersonal relationship skills 

• Ability to perform well on your own and as a part of a bigger team 

• German: advanced (C1/C2) 

• English: upper-intermediate (B2) or higher 

Optional: 

• Basic knowledge of UML and working knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN compliant) is a plus 

• Basic SQL knowledge

To strengthen our team, we are seeking a (Senior) Consultant – Banking Migration who will successfully manage our client projects with an analytical mindset, process understanding, and strong communication skills.

Your responsibilities: 

• Technical support and management of migration projects in the banking sector – from requirements gathering to implementatio

• Analysis and evaluation of data structures, processes, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEPA, ISO 20022, MaRisk)

• Support for the migration of core banking systems (e.g., SAP Fioneer, Core24, Avaloq, OSPlus, Agree21) as well as their peripheral and supporting systems (e.g., payment transactions, customer management, reporting, risk and portfolio management)

• Execution and coordination of data migrations, including data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance

• Creation of use cases, structured documentation, and technical test support

• Participation in the planning and execution of test migrations, rehearsals, and cutover activities

• Training and support for business units during the implementation of new processes and systems

• Optional: Contributing to the further development of internal methods and tools for migration and test automation

Your Profile: 

• At least three years of experience in migration projects, ideally in the banking sector

• Strong understanding of banking processes (accounts, payment transactions, online banking) and regulatory requirements

• Experience in business analysis: requirements gathering, use case documentation, structured analysis

• Knowledge of data migration, data cleansing, and test management is a plus  

• Strong communication skills, coordination abilities, and a keen sense of customer needs

• Technical understanding (e.g., SQL, interfaces, data models) is a plus, but not a must

• Very good German skills; English skills are a plus

• Ideally, experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Miro

Your responsibilities:

• Planning, designing and executing test activities to ensure quality in complex IT and transformation projects
• Analysing requirements and processes to derive appropriate test measures
• Developing and implementing test strategies, test plans and test cases – both manually and automatically
• Conducting functional and non-functional tests (e.g. system, integration, regression and acceptance tests)
• Analysing, documenting and tracking test results in close coordination with development and business departments
• Establishing, further developing and deploying test automation solutions – both internally and in client projects
• Supporting the introduction and optimisation of test processes in accordance with ISTQB standards
• Working in agile project teams (Scrum, Kanban) using modern tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Xray, HP ALM or TestRail
• Quality assurance within SAP or bespoke development projects, e.g. in the context of S/4HANA migrations or regulatory requirements (e.g. Instant Payments, Verification of Payee, MaRisk, BAIT)

Your profile:

• 1–3 years’ professional experience in software testing, ideally in a consultancy environment
• Ideally, experience in projects within the financial services or public sector
• Good knowledge of ISTQB test methods and processes (certification desirable)
• Experience with test management and documentation tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Xray, TestRail)
• A strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate customer requirements into test strategies
• Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work and a strong focus on quality
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• An advantage: knowledge of payment transactions, core banking systems, SQL, BPMN or ETL processes
